Martinsville is a great community located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  We are a diverse community with activities that appeal to families with young children, adults and retirees.  We have fantastic dining, arts and shopping opportunities as well as plenty to do outdoors, including parks, fishing and golfing.  We are well known for the world renowned NASCAR track, The Martinsville Speedway, located just minutes away.

The Martinsville Police Department is comprised of a highly trained and skilled staff of 50+ sworn officers and 5 civilians.  We are committed to partnering with our community and value service, integrity, respect for all, and quality through continuous improvement.
